This is what I am looking.
Regardless which method you learned the fretboard, this is best app as practice companion to give you random notes to stay sharp with you guitar.
Nice, easy to use
Exactly what looking for. Teaching son guitar and reading.
Works great
Exactly what I needed!
I spent $20 on paper flash cards they were awkward and never with me when I had a few minutes to use them. Now with this $1 app In 30 minutes I have progresses measurably due to score keeping that paper flash cards dont have. that makes it a competition with yourself, I have them on a break, on the bus or even during a TV commercial. How cool that I can progress at anytime faster than it takes to locate my paper cards, the app doesn't wear our like paper does, I dont have to carry them everywhere and worry about losing some of them. This app is not only great as a learning tool it is a bargain at 20x the price. I know I paid that much for the other cards, after finally finding them .. I should have looked here first. Who ever wrote this app is spot on with their design .. I can't say enough about how helpful this simple but effective app is ... and it's a bargain price also . I would give it ten stars . But it doesn't go that high ..lol ! ...
To the designer and dev..THANK YOU for this sick app! Love it. Worth $10
If you would like to learn (or improve) sight-reading on guitar, this is the perfect app. It shows you a note on the music staff, then after a user-set amount of time, shows the position on the fretboard. It will show other positions, also. Has other functionality that I have not gotten into just yet. But the sight-reading alone is well worth getting this app.
This is exactly what I was looking for to help me learn to sight-read guitar music. Having discovered its value to me now, if it cost $10 I would pay that without hesitation. At least, unless somebody else cloned it and sold it for a dollar again. ;) Because let's face it, it's a simple (but relatively elegant) app.
